The Crane & Mechanical Handling FORUM is a regular meet up of people with an interest in the ongoing safety of all things cranes, rigging, lifting equipment and lifting operations.

 

The FORUM is an independent, non-commercial and informal opportunity to share and discuss any regulatory queries, review recent industry safety bulletins, incident reports or equipment developments.

 

With a broad mix of attendees there is also a very good technical expertise in the room that can help clarify any safety or regulatory query.

 

The FORUM also gives an opportunity to present any innovations and lessons learned, which may be useful to share within interested organisations.

 

Attendees are from a broad range of industry sectors and while generally focusing on the energy industry, the FORUM welcomes discussion of any crane or lifting related items from all other sectors.

 

The Crane & Mechanical Handling FORUM meets 3 times a year, on set dates and usually at an Aberdeen venue, with free attendance and a light lunch included.
